CESSNA 404 TITAN
ABOUT THIS AIRCRAFT
The 404 Titan remains Cessnas largest twin-piston-engine aircraft, since the time of its development in the 70s, with the ability to seat up to nine passengers. The Titan underwent minor modifications from 1980. These included a redesign of the wingtips, increasing the wing span and adding features, such as a pressurised cabin and optional lavatory. The 421 was first produced in 1967, followed by the 421C Golden Eagle in 1975. The latter was developed with a pressurised cabin, the absence of wingtip fuel tanks and landing gear which was altered from straight-leg to a trailing-link design. Production ended in 1985, after 1,901 aircraft had been delivered.
